Model Maintenance I


Proficy SmartSignal Basics Training provides basic instruction on entry level tasks such as routine monitoring and basic model maintenance activities. The course is comprised of the following three topics: SmartSignal Fundamentals, Sentinel Training & Asset Maintenance Basics. 

Who should attend?

All users new to SmartSignal

Are there any prerequisites?

None regarding SmartSignal.
Each student must bring their laptop/PC loaded with Windows 7 & Firefox/Chrome browser.

Course Objectives:

SmartSignal Fundamentals:

Proficy SmartSignal Fundamentals provides a complete solution overview at a high level. Topics include an introduction to the SmartSignal processes and technology, modeling theory, system architecture, solution roles, and a software demonstration. All users will benefit from a general understanding of the SmartSignal solution provided in this course. In addition to the complete course, there is a very brief introduction available online.

Sentinel Training:

Sentinel training overviews the features and functions that are commonly used. Software navigation, workflow, charting, and the journal will be covered along with many other topics. Hands-on activities may be performed in either your Sentinel application or a sandbox environment during class to reinforce the topics presented.

Asset Maintenance Basics:

Learn how to perform standard asset maintenance activities, such as adapting new data into a model, turning on and off sensors, and changing residual thresholds. Basic modeling concepts are presented, along with hands-on lab exercises, where you will use the Asset Center application to practice asset maintenance on realistic cases.
