Course Description

SCHEDULE: 4 days, 4 hours per day --- Proficy SOA Fundamentals (DL) is an introductory class providing an orientation to Proficy SOA for administrators and clients. It will provide students with knowledge and skills to help successfully administer a Proficy SOA server and its components. --- This is an instructor-led course delivered in a virtual classroom. It is conducted over four separate sessions (via teleconference and web conference) with significant self-directed activities included. --- 1. Instructor-led activities, such as Webex and teleconference meetings, presentations and discussions; 2. Student activities, such as practical hands-on labs and working with the software in a cloud-supported environment --- Budget 16-20 hours for completion (inclusive of instructor and self-directed activities) --- *** Course Enrollment closes two weeks prior to course launch to allow for delivery of course materials ***

Who should attend?

This course is aimed at those who will be designing, developing and deploying a Proficy Application Server in an industrial setting.

Are there any prerequisites?

Suitable candidates will be experienced with Windows operating systems and industrial software systems (such as HMI/SCADA, Historian or MES systems). Database knowledge and familiarity with ISA S95 concepts are useful assets.
