A Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Analysis evaluates a system with respect to its individualfunctions to determine how to avoid functional failures. Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), on the other hand, is used to identify potential failures of equipment and locations, describe the possible effects of each failure, and recommend actions that will mitigate the risk of failure.
Course participants will navigate an existing FMEA to become familiar with its functionality, and then build a new one. Participants will add a Failure Modes and Effects Analysis record and then its associated Failure Modes, Failure Effects, and Recommendations.
This course is designed for Reliability Engineers, Operations, Managers, and Maintenance personnel.
