This course takes students through the essentials of architecting, configuring and deploying basic OpShield defense schemes for Operational Technology (OT) environments. This includes understanding the hardware available, where it is used, how it is used and how it is configured. Practical exercises get you working with the user interfaces and hardware so that you have the skills you need to administer the system.
Who should take this course?
Engineering, operations and maintenance staff who are responsible for the secure administration of OT environments. This is also a good course for cyber security professionals working in OT.
Are there any prerequisites?
Basic network administration skills are required. Experience working with controllers, control software and controls networks is recommended.
Instructor-led, classroom or virtual. Duration is 16 hours, either as two eight-hour sessions (classroom) or four, four-hour sessions (virtual).
