Course Description

4507 Using APM Rounds Classic

Overview

Rounds Data Collection is an action practiced by many sites using operators or technicians walking through a process or unit to record measurements. These measurements can be numeric or some type of pre-defined character values. It can seem like an intimidating task to transform paper-based routes or even another application’s routes into a new application like APM. In this hands-on course, you will learn to efficiently set up measurement locations on huge numbers of assets by the effective use of measurement location templates, measurement location template groups, and allowable values. Then, you will learn to organize these measurement locations into routes for the most efficient data collection. You will start the course from the data collection perspective, so that you get a first-hand look at the user experience for the person collecting data – allowing you to design more effective measurement locations and routes.
