4207 APM Strategy RCM/FMEA

Overview

In APM Strategy Failure Analysis, learn how to use APM to create and manage strategies for assets and plants. Build robust strategies by learning a Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodology, allowing you to identify equipment strategies that will improve maintainability and reliability of assets. Additionally, use a Failure Modes and Effects (FMEA) methodology to identify potential failures of equipment and locations, describe the possible effects of each failure, and recommend actions that will mitigate the risk of failure.

This class teaches you how to use different risk assessment tools, such as RCM and FMEA, to determine risk tolerance. Once the risk tolerance is understood for your organization, you can build a detailed asset and plant strategy in APM to manage the risk.
