Course Description

4207 APM Strategy RCM/FMEA

Overview

In APM Strategy Analysis, learn how to use two risk assessment tools, RCM and FMEA. To create strategies for assets. You will learn the fundamentals to create a Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis, allowing you to identify equipment strategies that improve planned maintenance effectiveness, increase reliability of assets and reduce risks. Additionally, use a Failure Modes and Effects (FMEA) process to identify potential failures of equipment and locations, describe the possible effects of each failure, and recommend actions that will mitigate the risk of failure to build an effective and detailed asset strategy to manage the risks associated with those failure modes. Finally, you will push the recommendations generated through an analysis to Asset Strategy Management (ASM) where actions can be implemented in APM or other execution systems. You will learn to create and utilize templates for complete analyses or specific failures to make future analyses even more efficient.
